Everest Challenge 2019
Everest Challenge 2019 is a team challenge event to climb the equivalent height of Mt Everest (8850m altitude gain) in under 17 hours. The event will take place at the popular Westcliff stairs in Johannesburg on Saturday 24th August 2019. The event is limited to 15 relay teams (6 per team).

About the event
Everest Challenge 2019 is a team challenge event to climb the equivalent height of Mt Everest (8850m altitude gain) in under 17 hours. The event will take place at the popular Westcliff stairs in Johannesburg on Saturday 24th August 2019. The event is limited to 15 Corporate Relay teams (6 per team). Target is 170 reps of the Westcliff stairs. The event starts at 07:00 and cut-off time will be 24:00 (midnight). Its a grueling task and not for the fainthearted. Athletes are encouraged to be averaging 6- 8 minutes a rep (both up and down in order to complete the task within the time limit).
